A visit to Luc Tuymans’ studio in Antwerpen, Belgium

In the “Mayersche Hofkunstanstalt” in Munich, German artist Joachim Jung produced an eighty meter long work made completely of glass for Linde AG. The glass piece depicts the company’s story.

The “Autostadt” in Wolfsburg celebrated its ten year anniversary with the release of a publication. For the project I photographed artists, designers and architects amongst many others who contributed to the establishment and development of the “Autostadt” as it is now. My colleague Peter Neusser photographed the architecture.

A family: 11 grand children, 3 couples, a grandmother, a grandfather.

The first photo was taken in Southern France in the summer of 2010. A year later the second family portrait was taken in Germany.

I have always been drawn to Rupprecht Geiger’s work. In 2008 I was given the opportunity to photograph his studio in Munich. I compiled four of the photographs for this edition. Rupprecht Geiger died in 2009 at the age of 101 years. Until the very end, he had never stopped pursuing art and working in his studio.

Iʼve known Louis since he was only two years old.
How fast children seem to grow up reminds me of how fast time flies by.
Louis is now a teenager.

Breaking Bread is a video installation created to be shown at a large scale.
The video is a mix of old and new personal family photographs arranged into a slideshow
which works as a meditation on the way moments in life are repeated throughout generations.
